Hi PM,
I have not been able to use this release. Even the Plugin template I got from Plugin.zip for this version could not load. My Plugin that was based on the Plugin-in template could not load. The MW5.1 Debug Window produces the following output:
1 Info APPLICATION STARTUP 04:17:01.353
2 Error Failed to initialize plugin manager
Plugins have duplicate GUIDs: MW5.TopoGISPlugin.InitPlugin MW5.TopoGISPlugin.InitPlugin
at MW5.Plugins.PluginManager.ValidatePlugins()
at MW5.Plugins.PluginManager.AssemblePlugins() 04:17:06.764
3 Info Loading time: 00:00:12.6687163 04:17:14.512
4 Debug Already checked today. Will check next time again. 04:17:14.719
5 Info Project was loaded: c:\users\kehinde isijola\documents\mapwindow5\usa\unitedstates.mwproj 04:17:17.534
How will I move on from here.
Again, the Print View still has some issues:
The Map Element Window is not floating, not editable. The text element requires looking into.
I hope the File>Close menu will work in the next release.

When you go to the documentation page: https://mapwindow5.codeplex.com/wikipage?title=Plug-in%20development&referringTitle=Documentation you'll see I've added more zip files to download.
Make sure you are using the right version for your MW5 version.

I think the TopoGISPlugin is your own plug-in, am I right?
As the error says you are using a GUID from one of the other plug-ins.
Go to the AssemblyInfo.cs of your project. It is in the Properties folder.
Change the values in that file and don't forget to create a new GUID.
In VS2013 this is done via Tools -> Create GUID.

I'll update the documentation page.

Let me know if you still have issues.

Thanks,

Paul

Yesterday I got a notification about this discussion from Codeplex but I don't see any new comments.
@Kehinde Do you still have issues?
